Fox Run Kennels offers a full service training facility. We strive to meet the individual needs of every dog and owner we work with. Our introductory program or “Puppy” program, as we call it, is not just for puppies. It fits any dog that needs more experience with birds, guns and anything hunting related. Most dogs that fit this program are between the ages of 6 months and a year-and-a-half. The program lasts 4-6 weeks at the kennel and includes introduction to gun fire, obedience, and lots of bird contact. Once dogs have had this introduction, a specific training program can be setup for your dog.
Fox Run Kennels offers a Summer training program in North Dakota. This program is designed for training and conditioning for the upcoming Fall hunting & trial season. Your dog will benefit from being worked on native Sharptailed Grouse and Pheasants. See North Dakota Training for more information.
Fox Run Kennels offers a Winter training program in Texas. This program is designed for basic training, obedience, and exposing your dog to wild birds. While most dogs are inactive in the Winter months, your dog will benefit from being worked on native Quail on a 3,500 acre ranch. See Texas Training for more information.
